Walter A. Brinkhoff was born on March 26, 1932 on the family farm near Syracuse, Nebraska to Charles F. and Orlena (Poppe) Brinkhoff. He passed away on Monday February 27, 2012 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 1 day.

Walter married Rosalind H. (Juilfs) Kramer on February 3, 1968 in Colorado. Walter served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked in construction and as a plumber. He also loved to go fishing.

Walter is survived by his sister Leola Hoffman of Lincoln, NE, Good Friends Arliss Wassenberg and Linda Butts both of Unadilla, NE, also many nieces and nephews.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers LaVerne, Wilmer and Alfred.

There will be no funeral service per Walter’s request. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Families Choice.
