Obituary

Adam Ray Hinkle, 40, of Omaha, Nebraska died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Lakeside Hospital, Omaha. Adam was born on June 29, 1971 to Roy Hinkle and Mary (Franke) Hinkle in Omaha, Nebraska.

Adam was an educator in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska and Cheney, Kansas. Outside of the classroom, Adam coached wrestling, football and soccer. He had lifetime hunting licenses in both Kansas and Nebraska. Adam was a K-State Alumni and received a Master's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was involved with Pheasants Forever, 4-H and enjoyed fine arts, fishing, antiquing and jewelry making. He was still a cowboy at heart.

Surviving Adam are his mother Mary Hinkle of Auburn, Nebraska, brother Clark Hinkle of Kingman, Kansas, sister Ann Zinn of Topeka, Kansas, nephews Kalib and Logan Hinkle of Brewster, Kansas, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and colleagues.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fritz & Agnes Franke, and A. C. & Laura Hinkle, and father Roy Howard Hinkle in February.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 22, 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Louisville, Nebraska. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Louisville.

Visitation will be at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 AM until 9 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Memorials suggested to Pheasants Forever.
