Agnes "Aggie" V. Huston, 96 of Murdock, passed away December 27, 2018 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on February 27, 1922 in Ruskin, NE to Andrew & Marie (Johannson) Andreasen. Agnes married Wayne Huston on Dec. 7, 1945 in Concordia, KS.
Agnes worked as a clerk at the Hamilton County Court House and Marquette Grain Storage. She also was a bookkeeper in Elmwood, Murdock, Raymond, Greenwood and Manley Co-Op Elevators. She enjoyed making and painting porcelain dolls and their clothes, ceramics, reading, crossword puzzles & word search puzzles, crocheting, quilting and yard work. Agnes also enjoyed volunteering at the Louisville Care Center doing resident manicures. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was affectionately known as Grammie.
She is survived by: Daughters: Cheryl (Dallas) Royal, Andrea & special friend Bill Trutna; Grandchildren: Steve Royal & special friend Joel Garcia, Jeremy (Cassie) Royal, Mandi (Cory) Chubb, Mindy Zeorian, Stephani (Ryan) Rice, Andrew Zeorian; Great Grandchildren: Tristan Lindsey, Araia & Austina Zeorian, Colby Kelly, Hailei Hoyt, Annalei Zeorian, Addison Rice, Jackson Rice, Cash Zeorian, Knox Chubb; sisters-in-law: Lorraine & MaryAnn Guilford; special friend Pat Wray; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: Wayne Huston, 2 Great Grandsons: Andrew Zeorian & Isiah Zeorian, Parents: Andrew & Marie Andreasen, Sisters & Spouses: Ellen (Rudy) Friesen, Mickie (Menno) Friesen, Vi (Hank) Huebert, Margaret (Bernard) Dubas, Parents-in-law: Raymond & Corda Guilford, Brothers-in-law & Spouses: Merlin & Nadine Guilford, Gene Guilford, Murry Guilford and Sister-in-law: Bonnie Miller.
Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 31 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Murdock. Burial will follow at the Callahan Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 30 from 1 – 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 4-6 P.M. at the Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Home, Elmwood, NE.
