Alan Edward Steppat, age 59, of Cedar Creek, NE, died Thursday, January 21, 2010. He was born on September 21, 1950, in Nebraska City, NE., to Donald Evertt Steppat and Elaine Petereit Steppat. Alan was raised on a farm East of Cedar Creek, NE, was a PHS graduate with the class of 1969. Alan attended UNL and graduated in 1972.

Alan is survived by his children Brandon A. Steppat, of Cedar Creek, NE, Brooke A. Steppat, of Omaha, NE, and Michael A. Steppat, of Colorado Spring, CO, mother Elain Petereit Steppat Rhoades, of Lincoln, NE, compaion Amy L. Mohler, brother Gene Steppat, of Lincoln, NE, and aunts, cousins, and friends.

Alan is preceded in death by his father Donald E. Steppat, sister Dona J. Steppat Burns, his grandparents Franz Petereit, Elizabeth Siemoneit Petereit, and Ed Steppat and Alice Tschirren Steppat.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. on January 25, 2010, at Christ Lutheran Church, Hwy 66, & 84th Street, East of Louisville, NE, with burial at Riverview Cemetery in Louisville, NE. Family suggest memorial to American Cancer Society, or Arbor Day Foundation.

NO Visitation or Viewing but Friends can sign the Register Book from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. Sunday, January 24, 2010, at the Funeral Home.
