Obituary
Alice Jean Danks was born on July 29, 1933 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Sylvester and May (Treadway) Smith. She died on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Omaha at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 12 days.
Jean was a nurse in the Korean War. After the War, she worked as a breakfast cook for 42 years. She was a member of the American Legion for 42 years.
She is survived by daughters – Lorainne Rose of Louisville, NE, Teresa and husband Mark Nash of Arvada, Colorado, Linda Miller of Huntsville, Missouri, sons – Ronald and wife Debbie Danks of Bentonville, Arkansas, Randy and wife Felicia Danks, and step-son – Robert Danks of California, 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husbands – Sterling Robert Miller, Harold Danks, and daughter Barbara Otom.
