Allen “Potsy” D. Roos, 80 of Lincoln, died on August 2, 2026, at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln. He was born on March 7, 1946, in Nebraska City to Les & Ruby (Stillahn) Roos. Allen proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.

Allen worked as a salesman for the Kellogg Company. He loved cooking, trap & skeet shooting, as well as hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his brother Dean Roos; niece Nancy (Royce) Badertscher; nephew Steve (Sheri) Siepelmeier and girlfriend Patty Sell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister & brother-in-law Janis & Ray Siepelmeier.

Private graveside services will be held at the Christ Lutheran Cemetery (Delaware) in rural Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Otoe.
