Barbara J. Behling, 83 of Syracuse formerly of rural Avoca, NE, passed away February 11, 2014. She was born on November 12, 1930 to Donald & Bernice (Fleischman) Wiles in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Barbara married Frederick Behling on May 10, 1957 at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch). She belonged to the Women of the Church and was very active in church. She was also a member of the State Fair Ladies Group.

Barbara is survived by her Nephew: Alan Wiles of Murdock, NE, and children: Curtis & Drew Wiles, Nephew: Brian and wife, Carmen Wiles of Ceresco, NE, and children: Shelby, Naval AA Benjamin & Trevor Wiles, Niece: Amy Vallinch of Ashland, NE, Sister-in-law: Carol Wiles of Murdock, NE, Special Cousin: Jerry Jacobson of Denver, CO, Special Friend: Sarah Carey of Syracuse, NE.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son Hank, Brother Richard.

Funeral Services for Barb will be held on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch) with burial at the First Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 14 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

The family suggests memorials to the Family's Choice for Later Designation.
