Barbara was born January 28, 1950 to Willard and Dorothy (Schutz) Ropers. She passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center, Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 59.

Barbara enjoyed fishing, playing Scrable, vacationing with her family when she could, playing Keno, dancing and being with her friends as much as she could!

She is survived by her Son Wyatt Hutchison and wife Michelle, Otoe, NE; Daughter Teresa Zapata and husband Francisco J. Otoe, NE; 8 Grandchildren Josephine Sherman, Kristin Hutchison, Howard Hutchison, Caitlin Hutchison, Victoria Hutchison, Jason Hutchison, Ethan Zapata and Logan Zapata, All of Otoe, NE; Parents Willard and Dorothy Ropers, Otoe NE; Sister Peggy Ropers, Hot Springs, AR. Also survived by many other Relatives and Friends.

She was preceded in death by Son Michael Howard Hutchison.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe, Nebraska with Vicar Mark Ekstrom officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 5th from 2-9 P.M. and Monday, July 6th from 9 A.M until 9 P.M. The family will greet and receive family and friends Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. The casket will be open one hour before church services.

Burial will be in Otoe Cemetery, Rural-Otoe, NE.
