Barbara Della Jackson, nicknamed Bobbie, was
born September 11, 1960 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Howard and Doretha (Ellis) Jackson. She joined heaven's choir on July 6, 2010 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Barbara grew up in Mississippi, accepting Christ as her personal Savior at a church camp. She attended Golden State University in San Francisco, CA earning a Business Communications degree. Barb moved to Omaha in 1987.
Barb worked for Ford Credit, Oriental Trading, and was working for Veterans Assisted Living at the time of her death.
She was a member and soloist at Midlands Baptist Temple, Omaha. She will be remembered for her beautiful singing and her loving care for her family.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jacqueline Jackson, and brother, Michael Jackson.
Barb is survived by her two sons, Julian of Fremont and Jordan of the home, a granddaughter, Amaya, brothers Glen and Gary Jackson, sisters 0ryalo Jackson of Mississippi and Yvonne Anny Rutherford of Georgia.
