Barbara Ann Maher was born October 25, 1933, in Rochester, New York, to Francis and Anna (Didas) Kuhn. She passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014, at the Louisville Care Center, at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 24 days.

Barbara married Robert Maher, and to this union they raised Karen, Judy, Mike, Bobbie, Jan, Joni, Shaun and Tim. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and cooked for a number of years at High Vue Cafe. She was a long time resident of Louisville Care Center.

Barbara is survived by her children Karen & Jay Ritchie, of Illinois, Judy & Terry Grell, of Louisville, NE, Mike & Lisa Maher, of Louisville, NE, Bobbie & Mike Goehring, of South Dakota, Jan & Matt Miller, of Weeping Water, NE, Tim & Renee Maher, of Missouri, Joni & Tracy Keckler, of Weeping Water, NE, 14 grandchildren; Lynne, Mindy, Travis, Tracy, Mason, Wes, Ryan, Shane, Craig, Nicole, Jace, Taylor, Jessica, and Brittany, and 13 great grandchildren; Cayden, Gannon, Declyn, Wrenn, Layton, Julia, Ashton, Sophia, Harper, Wyatt, Marshall, Bryn, and Tate.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Francis & Anna Kuhn, son Shaun, husband Robert

ROSARY 7:30 Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel, 413 Elm, Louisville, Nebraska

Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 101 Broadway, Manley, Nebraska with burial at a later date at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Family Suggests Memorials to the Family for later designation

Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. the time of the Rosary, all at the Funeral Home.
