It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara (Bobbi) Mueller, a beloved mother and friend. Bobbi peacefully left this world on January 19, 2024, at the age of 79.
Bobbi was born on December 15, 1944, and her life was a celebration of love, warmth, and the simple joys that brought happiness to those around her. She had a passion for cooking, and her culinary creations were a source of delight for family and friends alike. Her kitchen was a place where love was not just an ingredient, but the essence of every dish. Bobbi found immense joy in the companionship of her puppies, sharing unconditional love, and creating lasting bonds. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took great pride in watching them grow, attending their activities, and imparting wisdom and affection at every step. A true sports enthusiast, Bobbi reveled in the excitement of attending Husker football, basketball, and volleyball games. The camaraderie of her family, the cheering, and the spirit of the game resonated deeply with her, creating cherished memories that will endure. In her younger years, Bobbi enjoyed the thrill of playing volleyball with her friends. The friendly competition and shared laughter made these moments, not only about the game, but about the friendships that enriched her life.
Bobbi Mueller is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dale Mueller; daughter Teresa (Ron) Berube; son Todd (Lisa) Mueller; grandchildren Shelby (Luke) White; Dylan Berube; Brooke Berube (fiancé Ian Meador); Cade Mueller (Molly Lakin); Sydney Mueller; sister Judy (Bob) Schmidt; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and others who will forever cherish the memories of her love, laughter, and the delicious meals she prepared with passion. In honoring her memory, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives and the kindness she shared with everyone she met.
A memorial service to celebrate Bobbi's life will be held at First Lutheran Church (North Branch), Avoca, NE at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 25th. The service will be livestreamed on the First Lutheran Youtube page. A private interment, with the immediate family, will take place at the Omaha National Cemetery at a later date.
