Barbara Ann Parks Nowick, 92 of Louisville, was born to Sedwick Rhodes Parks & Gladys Peterson Parks on December 7, 1930, in Lincoln, NE. She passed away on July 13, 2023, at Midlands Hospital in Papillion, NE.

Preceded in death by parents, 4 brothers: Neil, Jack, Jim, Pete Parks, 3 sisters: Marjorie Neukam, Rosemary Robinson, Pinky Calahan Frye, 1 son: Mark Laune, 1 granddaughter: April Denise, 1 great granddaughter Emma Minnie Pyper, husbands Charles Roger Laune, Dean Loofe, Manuel Nowick.

Those surviving are 3 sons: Richard (Glenda) Laune, James (Annette) Loofe, William (Kim) Loofe, 3 daughters Jeanne Laune, Kay (Carlos) Henry, Dee (Pedro) Arias, 9 grandsons: Kenneth S., Carlo Henry, Symeon Williams, John Dust, Eric Laune, Jesse, Lucas, Austin Arias, Carson Loofe, 6 granddaughters: Havilah Fischer, Keturah Romer, Amanda Cappel, Rutheah Rodehorst, Tabitha Pyper, Jenna Loofe, 25 great grands: Christopher, Savoy, Kaela, Piper, Parker, Nehemiah, Clark, Hanna, Arden, Azra, William, Johnny Ella, Caleb, Anna, Leo, Ashlyn, Julia, Nina, Elanore, Brooks, Asher, Mila, Kennedy, Mia and Talli.

Barbara was involved with the KC United Church of Christ, PEO Chapter BT in Weeping Water, NE, Spin Offs singing group, Red Hat Society and the Lofte Community Theatre in Manley, NE. She enjoyed bridge, knitting, singing, acting, playing piano and games with her family. She felt that her biggest accomplishment was raising such a talented family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 17th at 10 a.m. at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Louisville. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman Facebook page. Luncheon to follow at the Louisville Senior Center. The burial will be at 3 p.m. at the Mound Prairie Cemetery in Goehner, NE.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. at the Fusselman Funeral Home in Louisville.

Memorial donation may be made to the Lofte Community Theatre in Manley, NE
