Barbara Ann (Scheinost) Schweitzer was born in Lynch, Nebraska on June 28, 1960 to Ladimer and Hildred (Hafsaas) Scheinost. She passed away at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha on March 10, 2011.

Barbara worked as a dining room manager, at Pound Middle School and as a homemaker. She enjoyed working with animals, football, nascar, collected wind chimes and frogs. She also was a free lance writer.

Barbara is survived by her Son Ryan, Special friend Alan Nolte, 2 sisters Betty (John) Hagedorn - Omaha and Arlene (Dave) Wiebusch - Syracuse; 4 brothers Bob (Marilyn)- Lincoln, Ron (Sheila) -Lincoln, Terry (Pat) - Syracuse, Don (Marcia) - Syracuse; Maggie Kohn, James Kohn, Carl Nolte, Josh Nolte, Sarah Nolte, Ruthanne Allder, Joann Allder, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by: Parents Ladimer and Hildred Scheinost, 2 brothers Edwin and Lyle, 1 sister Marie and niece Amanda.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday March 15, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church.

Burial at Park Hill will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to family's choice.

There will be no viewing due to cremation. Friends may sign the book on Monday March 14, 2011 from 9 A.M. until 5 P.M.
