Beck y Kay vonRentzell age 49 of Elmwood, Nebraska passed awa y at her home in Elmwood, Nebraska on Sunday, October 3, 2021.  She was born in Nebraska City, Nebra ska on March 5, 1972 to Dou g and Patti ( Cutter) Spellman.

Becky grew up in Elm wood and graduated from Elmwood Schools in 1990, the last class to graduate before merging with Murdock.  After High School, she attended Southeast Community Co llege in Linc oln where s he obtained a d egree in Respiratory Therapy.  S he wor ked for Clarkson Hospital in Omaha , Nebraska.

She was united in marriage to Kurt vonRentzell on August 1, 1998 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood, Nebraska. After Kurt ' s military service , they made their home in El mwood where they raised their four sons, Keegan, Jaden, Carson and Reagan.  She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed watching her boys play in a variety of activities th roughout the years.  She always hel ped serve meals to the football teams and was an avid fan. She was a proud wife and mother of both veteran and active-duty United States Marines.

She is survived by her husband Kurt vonRentzell of Elmwo od, NE, sons, Keegan vonRentzell of Omaha, NE, Jaden vonRentzell of Lincoln, NE, Carson vonRentzell of Sa n Diego , CA, Reagan vonRent zell of Elmwood, NE, parents, Doug & P atti Spellman of Elmwood, NE, sister Tammy (Ri c k) Brummer of Weepin g Water, N E, brother, Todd (Coleen) Spellman of Elmwood, NE.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nep hews and friends.

Becky was preceded in death by her sister, F aith Towle.

Memorial Services will b e held on Friday, October 8 , 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood, Nebraska with Rev. Michelle Che snut.

No visitation

Private family burial will be a t a later date at the Omaha National Cemet ery.
