Belva Jean Rosenthal, 92 of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on January 25, 1930, to Alva & Agnes (Schultz) Robinson in Tecumseh.

Belva Jean married Elmer Rosenthal on April 18, 1952, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Her most important job was being a mother. She enjoyed playing bingo, attending family gatherings, and raising her vegetable and flower garden.

She is survived by her children Ronald Rosenthal of Syracuse, Patricia Rosenthal of Deepwater, MO, Randy (Hazel) Rosenthal of Albuquerque, NM, Debra McConnell of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Keri (Kevin) Ingram, Mindy Green, Jamie Kraus, Jacki (Ryan) Kolwaki, Melissa Rosenthal, Sarah (Herman) Trujillo; 8 great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings Donita Rosenthal, Darlene Schulte and Walt Robinson.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Syracuse. Burial will follow at the Park Hill Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
