Berdean O. West, 94 of Unadilla, passed away October 11, 2018 at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 3, 1924 to Herman & Ruby Mae (West) Stoner in Unadilla.

Berdean married Gene West on November 23, 1942 in Nebraska City. She was a stay-at-home mom and also helped take care of many extended family. Berdean was a member of the Unadilla Christian Church and belonged to the Christian Church Circle #2. She also enjoyed her flowers and gardening.

She is survived by her Children: Sandra (Keith) Kimbell, Bev (Dan) Crownover, Mike West all of Unadilla; 8 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter; Sister: Lois Ebert of Unadilla; Brothers: Lyle Stoner of Lincoln, Bill (Mary) Stoner of Omaha; Sister-in-law: Nyla (Gayle) Lorenson of Syracuse; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, grandson, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 15 at 11:00 A.M. at the Unadilla Christian Church. Burial will be at the Unadilla Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
