Bessie Mae Meisinger was born August 20, 1922, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, to Earl & Mae (Taylor) Bailey. She passed away, on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Midlands Hospital at the age of 89 years, 6 months, and 1 day.

Bessie married Glen Meisinger on December 9, 1944, in Independence, Kansas, and to this uion they raise 3 sons Stanley, Marlin, and Jerry. She raised her family and was a farmwife, raiseing Minks, along with a garden. She was always quilting, and making things for others.

Bessie is survived by her son Jerry & Bonnie Meisinger, of Springfield, NE,
4 grandchildren Stacy A. Meisinger, Amber (Geoff) Bogatz, Mark Meisinger, and Bryan Meisinger, 3 great grandchildren Anthony Cole, Jessica Meisinger, and Paige Meisinger, 3 great great grandchildren Ethan Cole, Jesse Cole, and Alexis Cole, sister Vera Wilson, and sister-in-law Sylvia Meisinger.

Preceded in Death by her parents, husband Glen, 1986 son Stanley, 1967, and son Marlin, 1993

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, Springfield, Nebraska, with burial at the Riverview Cemetery following services.

VISITATION will be Friday, February 24, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. all at the funeral home.
