Bethel Cleasby was born on August 2, 1918 in Syracuse, Nebraska to Walter & Veda (Lockhart) Goos. She passed away on June 5, 2011 at Life & Care Center in Elkhorn, Nebraska at the age of 92 years, 10 months, and 3 days.

Bethel married Harold McClane on November 28, 1936 in Julesburg, Colorado. They were together for 42 years and raised 3 girls Judy, Jan, JoAnn. Bethel worked at many jobs over her life, they included School Teacher, IRS, Corp of Engineers, Eastern Nebraska on Ageing.

She was a member of the Church ladies aid, and Legion Aux #100. Bethel enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, tending her rose garden, her cat sassy, and loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 3 Daughters: Judy & Don Harris of Denver, CO, Jan & Don McMullen of Fort Meyers, FL, JoAnn & Leroy Jacobson of Syracuse, NE, 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter, also many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, sister Delorus Goos, Husbands Harold McClane in 1979, Elmer Burley (Bud), and Richard Cleasby in 1990.

Funeral Service for Bethel will be Friday June 10, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey funeral chapel in Syracuse.

Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery.

Family suggests memorials to the family's choice.

There will be no visitation for Bethel.
