Obituary
William (Bill) Frank Haag was born on October 14, 1934 in Mason City, Iowa to Lloyd and Bernice (Johnson) Haag. He died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in Grand Island VA Hospital at the age of 75 years, 8 months, and 24 days.
On December 15, 1978, Bill married Jackie Miller at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Together they raised three children - Michael, Russell, and Lori. Bill served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. He was involved as a recycler. Bill helped all who needed it. He enjoyed people, especially relaxing with family, friends, and animals. He had three dogs and a cat he enjoyed playing with.
Bill is survived by children, Michael Haag of Otoe, NE, Russell and wife Samantha Haag, of Syracuse, NE, and Lori Haag and husband Dean Adams, of Mason City, IA, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, brother Dewy and wife Sharon Haag, of Mason City, IA, and sister Jeanne Haag, of Mason City, IA, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, brother Duane and wife Jackie.
Services for Mr. Haag will be 10:30 AM on Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel, Syracuse. Burial at Park Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
No Visitation due to cremation. The register book will be available from 1-9 on Sunday.
