Bonnie Kay Fossum, was born May 4, 1946, in Nebraska City, Nebraska, to Robert & Leona (Ruehs) Young. She left this Earth on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at her home in Gretna, Nebraska, at the age of 64 years, 8 months, and 5 days.
Bonnie married Andrew Fossum, on December 28, 1979, in Syracuse, Nebraska, and to this union they raised, Andrea, Jennifer, and Jason. She worked as a Church Secretary until retirement in 2010. Bonnie enjoyed Golf, and University of Nebraska Football. Her loves were her children, and grandchildren. She was known as a Good Cook, with her Taco's and Bonnie's Dip being two of her family's favorites.
Bonnie is survived by Andrew Fossum, Gretna (husband), Andrea Fossum, Pakistan, (daughter), Jennifer Brigden, Omaha, (daughter), Tracy Brigden, Omaha Jason and Natalya Young, Lincoln (son and daughter in law), Aidan Brigden, Omaha (grandson), Jackson Young, Lincoln (grandson), Allan Young, Syracuse (brother), Dale and Birdean Young, Syracuse (brother and sister in law), Lois and George Johnson, California (sister and brother in law), Jerry and Sharron Fossum, Wyoming (brother in law and wife), Carol Lu and Mike Zeitner, Washington (sister in law and husband), Janet Fossum, Montana (sister in law), Sarah and Chuck Thompson, Florida (sister in law and husband), Bob and Mary Fossum, Montana (brother in law and wife), Pat Robinson, Montana (foster sister in law), Dorothy Fossum, Montana (mother in law), Margaret Wilson, Omaha (aunt).
Bonnie is proceeded in death by Robert Young (father), Leona Young (mother), Orrin Fossum (father in law), Carol Young (sister in law), Marvin Robinson (foster brother in law).

Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 17007 Q Street, Omaha, Nebraska. Burial of Bonnie's remains, will be Saturday, March 12 at 3:00 P.M. at Park Hill Cemetery, 17th & Walnut Street, Syracuse, Nebraska. Family Suggests Memorials to American Cancer Society, or St. Thomas Lutheran Church.
No Visitation or Viewing due to Cremation.
