Brian K. Nickels, 54 of Syracuse, passed away on November 22, 2020 at his home. He was born on December 1, 1965 to Richard & Sharon (Upton) Nickels in Lincoln.

Brian married Lori Beccard and to this union they had 2 children. He worked for 23 years at Martin Marietta in Weeping Water. Brian enjoyed playing pick 5, collecting coins and collecting tape measures. His goal was to have enough to measure over a mile, which he was able to accomplish.

He is survived by his Wife: Lori Nickels, Daughter: Kayla Nickels, Son: Jeff Nickels all of Syracuse, Sister: Chris Flanagan of Weeping Water, Niece: Cortney (James) Struthers of Manley, Nephew: Shawn (Ashton) Flanagan & family of Weeping Water. Also aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

To keep with Brian's wishes, no services are planned at this time. A Celebration of life will be at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the family for later designation.
