Carl Ray Buzzard 3rd, was born, February 12, 1943 in Chicago, IL, to Carl Ray Jr. & Elma (Simmerman) Buzzard. He passed away, Sunday, February 7, 2010, at home with his family near, at the age of 66 years old.

Carl married Patricia Jones, in July 20, 1996, here at First United Methodist Church, Louisville, Nebraska. He loved to read, and real Murder Mysteries. Carl was employed by Colonial Press before Retirement

Carl is survived by his wife Patricia (Patty) Buzzard, of Louisville, NE, daughter Isabelle Nelson, of Lincoln, NE, son Tony Pope, of Lincoln, NE, stepson Timothy Jones, of Louisville, NE step daughters Tammy Poldberg & husband Randy, of Kimballton, Iowa, Karen Duryea & husband Randy, of Lincoln, NE, and Diana Wildrick & husband Scott, on Concord, CA, 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, inlaws Kathryn & Ray Haynie, of Springfield, NE, Ralph & Mary Gerdes, of Alva, OK, Marge & Terry Chesney, of Woodridge, IL, Julie & John Prodsel, of Blair, NE, John & Marilyn Gerdes, of Rapid City, SD, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carl was preceded in death, his parents, grandson Zachery Pope, granddaughters Breanna Pope, and Tyna Wadkins.
