Cecilia "Piner" Piner, was born April 9, 1925, in Stanton, Nebraska, to Herman August & Augusta (Boldt) Hartman. She passed away, Sunday, January 30, 2011, at the Louisville Care Center, at the age of 85 years, 9 months, and 21 days.

Cecilia, or Piner as many of her friends called her married J.D. Piner, on January 14, 1944, in Goodland KS, and to this union they raised 2 children Carolyn & Edward. Piner worked at the Louisville Care Center in the Dietary Department. She also worked as a Telephone Operator, at Platte River State Park, and sold Avon for 28 years. She helped at the Cedar Creek Post Office when needed. She was a 4-H Leader for both a Boy's Club and a Girls Club.

She is survived by her son Edward & wife Rita Piner, of Troy OH, and daughter Carolyn & husband Dan Copley, of Eckley, CO, grandchildren Patrica Anderson, Jaylene Sorenson, Eric Piner, Drew Piner, Matthew Copley, and Kimberly Alicie, great grandchildren Nichole Baker, and Jonothan Anderson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother Ewald, and sister Regina, as well as 2 sisters at birth.

Funeral Services will be Friday, February 4, 2011, at 10:30 A.M., at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Louisville, Nebraska with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Family Suggest Memorials in lieu of flowers to Christ Lutheran Church, or Louisville Care Center

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011, from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. and Thursday, February 3, 2011, from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M., all at the Funeral Home.
