Charles E. "Charlie" Mink was born on May 14, 1941 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Earl and Lorene (Durman) Mink. He passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Midlands Hospital in Papillion, Nebraska at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 4 days.

Charlie was united in marriage to Mary Liddick on November 24, 1984 in LaPlatte, Nebraska. Together they celebrated 25 years of marriage. He worked as a truck driver for National By-Products for over thirty years until health problems caused him to retire early. He was a very social person, and enjoye having coffee with friends. Many people dubbed him the unofficial "Mayor of LaPlatte", at title which he enjoyed. He also enjoyed gardening and watching a good soap opera on T.V.

He is survived by : wife: Mary Mink of Bellevue, NE; 7 Children, 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren; brother Wayne Mink of Murray, NE; sister, Coreda Stockdale of LaVista, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE.

Visitation will be Monday, February 22nd from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
