Charles McKinstry was born January 19, 1925, in Ava, Missouri, to George and Ruby (Sweeton) McKinstry. He passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Ashland Care Center, at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 21 days.

Chuck married Ellen Snodgrass on July 16, 1962, in Laverne Minnesota, they raised five children Sally, Terry, Cindy, Brenda, and Lori. He worked for Foxley Feed Yard, Manly, Nebraska

Chuck is survived by his wife Ellen McKinstry, of South Bend, NE, daughters Sally McKinstry Smith son-in-law Dana Smith, Cindy Kahland, Brenda MecKinstry Dalton son-in-law Mark Dalton, Lori McKinstry Graham, son-in-law Brad Graham, daughter-in-law Roxanne McKinstry, grandkids, great grandkids, brother Jerry McKinstry and wife Alberta McKinstry, nieces and nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Doyle, sister Willa and son Terry McKinstry

Memorial service will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Chapel, 413 Elm Street, Louisville, Nebraska, with burial at South Bend, Nebraska. Family suggest memorials to the Families Choice.

VISITATION: Wednesday, October 14th from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., with the family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. all at the Funeral Home.
