Charles (Chuck) R. Martin, 54 of Syracuse passed away at his home in Syracuse on March 15, 2015. He was born in Nebraska City to Raymond & Barbara (Pope) Martin on December 5, 1960.

Charles married Sandra Hartman on July 5, 1997 in Lincoln, NE. He worked at Wheaton's for 29 years. He loved to fish and look for mushrooms, but above all else, his family was most important to him.

He is survived by: Wife: Sandra Martin, Children: Kathrine Martin & Charles Deacon Martin, Mother: Barbara Martin, Sisters: Carol Ann (Jeff) Allen, Sarah (Scott) Carey, Rose (Jim) O'Bryan, Brother: Glen Martin & Special Friend Cheryl Mills, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father Raymond.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to encourage donations to the American Cancer Society and to thank and hug all the wonderful nurses out there.

A Celebration of Life with family greeting friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. will be Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home, 644 Park Street, Syracuse, Nebraska. Directly after, all family and friends are welcome to a follow up gathering, to be held in Lorton at the Lorton Lounge.
