Charlie L. Hopp, Jr. was born on January 4, 1920 in Bennet, Ne to Charlie Hopp, Sr. and Edith Kempkes Hopp. He passed away on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Tabitha Health Care Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

He was united in marriage to Virgina Mary Matthews on September 2, 1959 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Palmyra, NE.

He is survived by his wife Mary Hopp of Bennet, NE; Daughters: Heidi Hopp of Bennet, NE; Jeannie Lancaster and husband Rob of Lincoln, NE; 2 Sisters, Dorothy Ullsperger of Syracuse, NE; Edith Steinhoff of Syracuse, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Palmyra, NE with Father Chris Barak officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary being held at 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the Legion Hall in Bennet, NE.
