Charlotte Stander was born October 2, 1916, in Louisville, Nebraska, to Fredrick & Sigrid (Sjogren) Schmader. She passed away Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Louisville Care Society, Louisville, Nebraska at the age of 95 years, 3 months, and 11 days.

Charlotte married Herbert Stander, on February 23, 1938, in Shenandoah, Iowa, and to this union they raised 2 children Diane, and Gary. She was a member of Women's Society and Glendale Club. She was known for her Quilting, Crocheting, and her Pie Making.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter Diane & husband Richard Stohlmann, of Kansas City, KS, and son Gary & wife Nancy Stander, of Louisville, NE 5 grandchildren Joyce (Pat) Hoegerl, Jennifer Stander, Amanda (Jeff) Finley, Karen (Wyatt) Henderson, and Brian Stander, 6 great grandchildren Geoffrey Edwards, Kyle Young, Kathryn Edwards, Rachel Young, Elise Henderson, and Elijah Henderson.

Charlotte is preceded in Death by her parents Fredrick & Sigrid Schmader, step-father Joe Schmader, husband Herbert Stander, brother Bill Schmader.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 20, 2012, at 11:00 A.M.at the First United Methodist Church, 222 Walnut Street, Louisville, NE, with burial at Riverview Cemetery. Family Suggests Memorials To First United Methodist Church or the Louisville Care Center

Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., with the family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. all at the Funeral Home
