Chris L. Wheeler was born on September 19, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska to Harvey and Margaret Jane Palmer. She passed away on Thursday,May 3, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 50 years, 7 months and 14 days.

She was united in marriage on February 18, 1978 to Brian Wheeler at Kuntz Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska, and together they raised two daughters, Ashley and Morgan.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springfield,Nebraska and the Omaha Fish and Wildlife Club.

Chris is survived by her Husband: Brian Wheeler of Springfield, NE; Daughters: Ashley Bartlett and husband Rick of Oceanside, CA; Morgan Wheeler of Springfield, NE; Granddaughter: McKenzi Bartlett of Oceanside, CA; Father: Harvey Palmer and wife Joy of New Meadows, ID; Sisters: Jane Mann and huband Jerry of Papillion, NE; Gay Palmer of Omaha, NE. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Jane Palmer.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Springfield, Nebraska.

Interment will flow the funeral services at Riverview Cemetery in Louisville, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7th from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Nebraska Humane Society or for and Educational Fund for Chris's Granddaughter, McKenzi Bartlett.
