Christian E. Rosenthal was born on October 12, 1914 in Hamburg, Iowa to Herman and Mary (Weber) Rosenthal. He passed away on April 8, 2009 at his home in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 94 years, 5 months and 27 days.

Chris was united in marriage to Frances Conradi on February 22, 1952 in Hickman, Nebraska, together they raised a daughter, Judy and Sid Fessler Chris spent the majority of his life farming in the area of Roca, Nebraska.

He is survived by his daughter Judy Wallman and husband Louis of Syracuse, Nebraska, Sid Fessler and wife Holli of Omaha, Nebraska, grandchildren, Kathy & Brian Wallman, Sid Jr. & Chance Fessler, sisters, Clara Moore of Rock Island, Illinois, Helen Siefken of Syracuse, Nebraska. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Elmer Rosenthal.
