Clara Frieda (Pieper) Stoner was born April 7, 1922 in rural Johnson country near Cook, NE to Charles and Hattie (Puppe) Pieper. She passed peacefully at the Good Samaritan Home in Syracuse on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the age of 91 years, 3 months, and 21 days.
Clara was married to Harland Ralph Stoner on March 7, 1941 in Cook, NE. To this union six children were born. She dedicated her life to raising her family.
She is survived by sons, Charles & wife Diane, Ronald & wife Christie, daughters, Linda Hoover and friend Jr. Erisman, Barbara Harris & husband David, Debra Lamblin & husband Eric & son-in-law, Ronald Fisher & wife Carol, sisters, Amanda Stoner & Darlene Carman, eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a number of other friends & relatives.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harland, daughter Dona, son-in-law Lee Hoover, sisters, Minnie Kramer, Gus Pieper, Irma Stoner, Hilda Melhop.
Clara was a member of the Luther Memorial Church in Syracuse.
Funeral services will be held August 5 at 10 A.M. at the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Park Hill cemetery in Syracuse.
Visitation will be Sunday August 4 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 2 until 4 P.M. at the funeral home.
