Clarence H. Pfeiffer was born on May 14, 1929 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Wendelin and Frances (Gress) Pfeiffer. He passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 81 years and 28 days.
Clarence lived his entire life in the Otoe County Area. He worked on the farm for Joe and Helen Royal until Joe's death and then worked for their son Larry and his wife Gayle until he retired. He enjoyed playing cards, music, reading and being with his family. He especially loved the card games at the Palmyra Senior Center.
He is survived by his two sisters, Helen Royal of Palmyra, NE and Dorothy Royal of Syracuse, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Emil, Ralph (infant) and Charles.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse, Nebraska with Fathers Michael Stec and Christopher Barak officiating.
A Rosary service will be held on Tuesday, June 15th at 7:30 P.M. at the Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home in Syracuse, NE.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Rural Paul, Nebraska.
Memorials may be given to St. Martin's Catholic Church in Douglas, NE or the Palmyra Senior Center.
