Cody M. Wagoner, 28 of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, November 9 at his home. He was born on October 18, 1993, to John & Tricia (Freeman) Wagoner in Arlington, TX.
Cody worked multiple jobs in the construction field, but being an iron worker was the one job that he enjoyed the most. He was an avid reader, loved journaling and was a huge history buff, especially on the subject of WWII. His other loves included Johnny Cash, shooting, traveling, sky diving and spending time at The Forty.
He is survived by his parents Michael & Tricia Foss, John & Patti Wagoner; brothers Miles (Kassie) Wagoner, Chandler Foss, Drake Foss; sisters Sarah (Woodrow) Parsons, Hannah (Blake) Lutz, Ellie Foss; grandparents Rod & Judy Wagoner; nieces & nephews Carter, Charleigh & Harper; aunts & uncles Archie & Bev Freeman, Lisa Braswell, Jay & Cheryl Wagoner, Michael & Lorna Wagoner; girlfriend Catherine; also, many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Tanner Foss; grandparents John & Bessie Freeman and uncle Johnny Braswell.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Murdock. Burial will take place in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14 from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church.
