Coleta Lerma Halm passed away at her home in Nebraska City on July 7, 2014. She was born September 9, 1949 to Harvey and Hilda Doeden Halm at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Coleta was baptized at the St. John's Evangelical & Reformed Church in Syracuse.
She grew up on the family farm 5 miles south of Syracuse. She loved the outdoors, trucks and parades. Her favorite movie was anything with her "Roy" (Rodgers). Later in life she moved to Neb. City and attended workshops at Region five. She continued to live in Neb. City the rest of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and brother Roger & sister-in-law Fern.
Surviving her are brother: William (Lenore) Halm of Omaha, sister: Janet (Don) Butterfield of Atkinson, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunt Charlene Ried of Syracuse.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9 A.M. until the time of the service. Services will be held on Thursday July 10 at 2 P.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel in Syracuse. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
