Colleen F. Lamb was born on April 9, 1940 in Rural Otoe, Nebraska to Ralph & Ruby (Hillman) Kastens. She passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 2 days.

She was united in marriage on July 8, 1960 to Roby D. Lamb at First Lutheran Church (North Branch) in Rural Avoca, Nebraska. Together they raised three children, Kevin, Kurtis and Keri. She retired from AT&T where she worked in Quality Assurance. She enjoyed Thoroughbred horse racing, playing cards, Bunko, and spending time at the casino.

She is survived by her children: Kevin Lamb of Otoe, NE and best friend April Hall of Syracuse, NE; Kurtis Lamb and wife Iris of Cedar Creek, NE; Keri Hall and husband Eddie of Louisville, NE; Step Daughter: Susan Lamb of Lincoln, NE, 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren Siblings: Arlene Voges and husband Larry of Jacksonville, FL; Merlin Kastens and wife Diane of Harlan, IA; Betty Bennett and husband Johnny of Syracuse, NE.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: Roby Lamb, Parents: Ralph & Ruby Kastens.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at First Lutheran Church (North Branch) in Rural Avoca, Nebraska with Rev. William Dressen officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 9 AM until 9 PM with family greeting friends from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the First Lutheran (North Branch) Cemetery in Rural Avoca, Nebraska.
