Connie Y. Pettigrew, 57 of Douglas, passed away surrounded by family at her home on January 9, 2017. She was born on July 17, 1959 to Willie & Rose (Cayea) Coupal in Champlain, NY.

Connie married Mark Pettigrew on August 25, 1979 in Lincoln. She worked as a school bus driver. Connie enjoyed lunch and dinner clubs with her friends. She also enjoyed going to the casino's and was able to make it to Las Vegas in September. Most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughters.

She is survived by her Husband: Mark Pettigrew; Daughter: Amy Pettigrew; Granddaughters: Jordan & Layla "Bug" Pettigrew; and her fur baby Cookie.

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Willie & Rose Coupal; Brother: Ronald Coupal; Sisters-in-law: Marcella Coupal, JoAnne Pettigrew; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Harold & Mary Pettigrew.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bennet Community Church in Bennet, NE. The family will greet friends one hour before the start of the service at church. Burial will be at Bennet cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
