Craig Lee Holthus age 39 of Altoona, Iowa, who died at his home, on Monday, May 26, 2008. He was born July 21, 1968, in Scottsbluff, NE, to Gary and Joan (Berner) Holthus

Craig is survived by his wife Keri of Altoona, IA, children Ashley Watts, Daryl Holthus, Brandon Holthus, Preston Holthus, Justin Holthus, and Emily Holthus, grandchild Cheyenne Watts, mother Joan Ruge, and brothers Chad Holthus, and L. J. Weeks.

Craig is preceded in death by his father Gary Holthus, and grandparents Berner's and Holthus.

Craig worked as an Over the Road Truck Driver, and was a member of the Fire Department, and Rescue Squad in Syracuse. While living in Seward, he saved a woman from a Fire.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 644 Park St. Syracuse, NE
