Crystal G. McPherson was born on June 27, 1905 in Hickman, Nebraska to Ben And Mamie (Morrison) Walvoord. She passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 102 years, 2 months and 21 days.

She was united in marriage on June 11, 1929 to David McPherson at the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Together they raised two children, Douglas and Carol. Besides caring for her family, Crystal was a teacher for many years. She is a member of the United Methodist Church in Syracuse, Nebraska and the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.

She is survived by her son, Douglas McPherson and wife Mary of Angel Fire, New Mexico; daughter, Carol Krogh and husband Darrel of Syracuse, Nebraska; 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David, one sister and one brother-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Syracuse, Nebraska with Rev. Richard Dimond officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19th from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse, Nebraska

Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church in Syracuse or the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center.
