Daniel H. Gellerman, 82 of Omaha, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the Lakeside Hospital in Omaha. He was born on March 1, 1941, to Elmer & Verena (Rohlfs) Gellerman in Nebraska City. On August 24, 1962, Dan married Elizabeth Engelbrecht at St. John's UCC in Syracuse. He later served his country in the Army National Guard from 1965-1972.

Dan worked for OPPD as an account executive for 33 years and retired in 1997. He belonged to American Legion Post #100 in Syracuse, Lutheran Church of the Master and served on the Syracuse Rescue Squad. Dan enjoyed watching college football and woodworking.

He is survived by his son Scott (Gwen) Gellerman; grandchildren Clayton, Quincy & Marty; sister Dixie Adams; sisters-in-law Marlene Gellerman, Jackie Durst, Linda (Tim) Umshler; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in Death By: parents, wife Liz, son Stuart Gellerman, brother David Gellerman, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Sherry & Dick Nannen, Larry Durst, Mike Nannen and Terry Adams.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Master located at 2617 S 114th St. Omaha. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman Facebook page.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
