Daniel Sigerstad was born March 10, 1925 in Menasha, Wisconsin, to Hilmar and Helmiene (Nielson) Sigerstad. Dan passed away Monday, September 15, 2008 at the Plattsmouth Manor in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, at the age of 83 years, 6 months, and 5 days.

Daniel married Eunice Knutson, on July 13, 1985, in Cedar Creek, Nebraska. Dan served his Country in the United States Army, and worked as a Civil Servant for U.S. Air Force Carpentry Shop Instructor. He loved to play Cribbage, Hunt, Fishing, and to Dance, he was a member of VFW Plattsmouth, Nebraska

Daniel is survived by his son Tom Sigerstad, Frostburg, Maryland, Niece Diane Jenson, of Stoughton, Wisconsin, Step-children Jean Ann Heim, Louisville, NE, Bill Knutson, of Omaha, NE, Sally Kiper, of Omaha, NE, Tom Knutson, of Cedar Creek, NE, Gary Knutson, of Glendale, AZ. Special Friends Marge Stark, of Hemet, CA, and Teri Adams, of Yuma, AZ.

Daniel is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Brother Richard Sigerstad, and wife Eunice.

Time for Remembrance 7:00 P.M. will be Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 413 Elm, Louisville, NE

Graveside Services will be Friday, September 19, 2008 at Eastside Cemetery in Stoughton, WI.
