Darlene A. (Hall) Groathouse Dominy, 88 of Syracuse, passed away on May 21, 2023, at the James House in Lincoln. She was born on December 2, 1934, to Thomas & Mary (Jessup) Hall. Darlene married Bert Groathouse and after becoming widowed, she married John Dominy. She worked as an aide in nursing homes in multiple towns, including Syracuse, North Platte and Papillion. Darlene loved diet pepsi, playing bingo and her family.

She is survived by her daughter Darla (Dale) Johns, son Dan Groathouse; grandchildren Adam, Elizabeth, Erica, Samantha and Abbey; great grandchildren Addison, Hudson, Jillian, Micah, Cole; brother Herb Hall; also many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Bert Groathouse and John Dominy; sons Dale Groathouse and Dennis Groathouse.

Per Darlene's wishes, no services will be held.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
