David "Dave" Tietjen, was born February 17, 1961, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Don & Mary (Mayfield) Tietjen. He left us on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Methodist Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 50 years, 8 months, and 1 day.

Dave worked as a Welder, for Ash Grove Cement Co., in Louisville, and was a member of NRA, a avid reader, a history buff, loved to hunt, and ride his motorcycle.

Dave is survived by his sons, Travis and Tyler Tietjen, of Omaha; parents Don & Mary Tietjen, of Louisville; sister Angela Finn, of Lee's Summit, MO; brother Dan & wife Mary Ann Tietjen, of Omaha, NE; grandmother, Florence Moren, of Louisville, NE; special friend, Amy Mohler, of Louisville, NE; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Dave is preceded in Death by his grandparents, Reinhard & Alvina Tietjen and John Moren

Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 10:30 A. M. at Christ Lutheran Church, 15616 84th Street, Plattsmouth, NE, with burial at Riverview Cemetery. Family Suggests Memorials to Louisville Public School Foundation ref; Fitness Center or Donor's Choice.

Visitation will be Friday, October 21, from 9:00 A.M. Until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home
