Dean Allen Mason, Jr. was born November 3, 1960 to Dean Sr. and Ruth (Grimshaw) Mason, in New Port, Rhode Island, and passed away at University Of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha at the age of 55 years, and 1 day.

Dean married Amy Vervaecke, on September 8, 1995 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Louisville, Nebraska, and to this union they raised two children Sammie and Casey. He worked for Lutz and Company as a software programmer. Dean was a member of the Louisville School Foundation, the Louisville School Board, and the softball board. He coaching Sammie's softball teams for several years.

Dean is survived by his wife Amy, daughter Sammie, son Casey all of Ashland, NE, mother Ruth Mason of Beatrice, brother Greg and wife Diane Mason of Raymore, MO, niece and nephews Sidney, Jeff, and Johnathan, aunts uncles, cousins, and many many friends.

Dean is preceded in death by his father Dean Sr, and brother Jeffrey.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 36712 Church Road, Louisville, NE. Memorial are suggested to University of Nebraska Medical Center, 7th floor Cancer Care, Omaha, Nebraska

Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the Family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., all at the funeral home.
