Debra (Martinson) Huske entered into eternal rest after losing her battle with cancer 11/18/10 surrounded by her family. She was born 8/24/53 in Minnesota to Russell and Erna Martinson and spent most of her youth in Syracuse, Nebraska.

In 1969 she was united in marriage to James Caples of this union two children were born, Melissa and Jesse. In 1978 she united in marriage to Dennis Wendeln of this union three children were born, Rebecca, Mathias, and Sarah. In 2007 she was united in marriage to Tim Huske.

She graduated from UNL with a nursing degree in 1994. Deb enjoyed working with the elderly at the Wymore and Beatrice Good Samaritan Society and Beatrice Manor. After years of service at BryanLGH Hospital in Lincoln she found her home at the Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home in Bellevue. There she loved and cared for America's heroes for the past three years.

Deb is survived by husband, Tim of Bellevue; Children: Melissa (Travis) Henslee of Colorado, Jesse Caples and Mary King of Syracuse, Rebecca (Raul) Castro of Bellevue, Mathias (Sharla) Wendeln of Beatrice, and Sarah Wendeln of Bellevue. Step-sons: Kyle and Eric Huske. Step-daughter: Timberly Brown. Grandchildren: Nick, Alex, Melanie, Azalea, Jamale, Myrakle, Shane, and Gus. Parents: Russell and Erna Martinson; Sisters: Sharon (Bill) Davis of Syracuse, JoAnn (Steve) Gotschall of La Vista, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, November 22nd at 10:30 A.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Syracuse, NE with Rev. Paul Coen officiating.

Visitation (No Viewing) will be Sunday, November 21st from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed the Deb Huske Memorial Fund.
