Della Marie Holdsworth, 83 of Bennet, passed away on Monday December 14, 2015 at home surrounded by family. She was born on August 22, 1932 to Herbert & Lydia Marie (Halm) Goad in Syracuse, NE.

Della married George Holdsworth on November 12, 1947 in Syracuse, NE and to this union 4 children were born. Della worked as a nurses aid at Bryan Hospital in Lincoln for 20 years and at the Syracuse Hospital for 10 years. She loved traveling to see family and also enjoyed knitting and plastic needle point. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her Husband: George of Bennet; Daughter: Kathy Gress of Lincoln; Son: Bruce (Cathy) Holdsworth of Palmyra; 12 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren; Step Sister: Deborah Flessner of Unadilla; Sister-in-law: Charlene Reid of Syracuse; Brother-in-law: Charles (Hank) Holdsworth of Lincoln; Sisters-in-law: Betty Chapman of Milford, Lucille Holdsworth of Douglas, Faye Holdsworth of Bennet, Nora Mae Holdsworth of California; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Grandparents, Daughter: Connie Holdsworth; Son: Richard Holdsworth; Son-in-law: Ken Gress; Brothers & Sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 17 at 2:00 P.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel in Syracuse, NE.

Burial will be at Park Hill cemetery in Syracuse.

The family suggests memorials to the family's choice.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 16 from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
