Delmer H. Flessner, 94 of Unadilla, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. He was born on November 9, 1924 to John & Pearl (Dively) Flessner in Burr, NE.

Delmer married Viola Ude on February 21, 1957 at the Hopewell Church. He served in the Army from 1950-1952. Delmer worked as a farmer. He belonged to the Syracuse VFW Post #5547 and also the Pawnee Rod & Gun Club. Delmer also enjoyed attending cattle shows, tractor & engine shows and was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his Stepson: Ron (Linda) Slone of Casper, WY; Daughter-in-law: Deb Flessner of Norfolk; Grandchildren: Christi (Randy) Day of Casper, WY, Jodi (Nick) Brooks of Newcastle, WY, Stephanie Flessner & Fiancé Keith Buffington of Norfolk; Great Grandchildren: Ryan & Reece Day, Danny Brooks, Jordan (Jake) Pitchford, Devin & Ashlynn Buffington; 4 Great Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Madge Siefken of Syracuse, Mary (James) Peterson of Syracuse; Sister-in-law: Carolyn Flessner of Burr; also many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Son: Donald, Brother: Merlin, Sister & Brother-in-law: Irma Jean & Harlan Kreifels and Brother-in-law: Lester Siefken.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the Unadilla United Methodist Church. Casual dress requested. Burial will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the Family's Choice.
