Delores A. Buchanan, 85 of Douglas, passed away on December 10, 2016 at her home in Douglas. She was born on March 30, 1931 to William & Emma (Weber) Kehlenbeck in Syracuse.

Delores graduated from cosmetology school. She married Donald L. Buchanan on May 8, 1953 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. She worked on the Dairy farm with Donald for many years. She also enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her Daughter: Bonnie (Roger) Stott of Omaha; Sons: James (Gail) Buchanan of Palmyra, Clint Buchanan of Wilber; Grandchildren: Nathan (Amy) Buchanan, Karina Stott, Nicole Stott, Heath Buchanan, Blade Buchanan, Chance Buchanan; Great Granddaughter: Avery Buchanan.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Donald, Son: Michael, Grandson: Christopher Buchanan and Brother: Ervin Kehlenbeck.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2 P.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel in Syracuse. Burial will be at Park Hill cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Douglas Fire & Rescue or Hope Lutheran Church in Burr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-7 P.M. all at the funeral home.
