Delores A. Lingle was born on May 7, 1931 in Otoe, Nebraska to Fred and Dorothy (Hillman) Lockman. She passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 8 months and 3 days.

Delores married John Junior Lingle at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe, Nebraska on April 26, 1950. To this union they had one son Steve. Delores worked as an activities assistant at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center and also was a green thumb helper. Delores was involved in the May Birds, Missionary Society, ELCW Ladies aid and Pinochle Clubs. She also loved flowers and visiting with people.

Delores is survived by her Husband John Jr. Lingle of Otoe, NE, Son Steve & wife Barbara Lingle of Weeping Water, NE, Grandson Aaron & wife Amanda and Great Granddaughters Paige & Reese Lingle of Springfield, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Dorothy Lockman.

Funeral Services will be Friday January 13, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial at the Avoca Cemetery in Avoca, Nebraska. The family suggests memorials to the family's choice.

Visitation will be Thursday January 12 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
