Obituary

Delton L. Eisenhauer, 90, of Lincoln, formerly of Syracuse, died March 8, 2018. He was born on December 9, 1927 to Fred & Ida (Steinkuhler) Eisenhauer in Burr, NE. He married Louann Engelbrecht on February 27, 1954 in Syracuse.

Delton served in the Army during the Korean War. After his military service he worked as a truck driver for Conoco delivering fuel oil and later worked for Stutheit's in Syracuse transporting machinery for over 25 years. He served on the city council and was a member of the Syracuse American Legion Post #100. Delton was an active member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and served on the church council.

He is survived by his Son: Jerry (Margarita) Eisenhauer of Lincoln; Daughter: Vickie Britten of Lincoln; Grandchildren: Michael Eisenhauer & Tim Eisenhauer both of Ocean Beach, CA, Kathrine Eisenhauer of Lincoln, Ben Britten of Tampa, FL, Tony (Kelli) Britten of Lincoln; Step Grandchildren: Jonathan Medina of Denver, CO, Jordan Feyerherm of Lincoln, Santiago Estevez Jansen of Lincoln; Siblings: Lucille Panko, Iona Pieper, Mavis Mohlman and Joy Eisenhauer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son-in-law: Fred Britten.

Memorial services will be held Friday, March 16th at 11 A.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. No viewing due to cremation. Memorials to Nebr. Disabled American Veterans.
