Obituary
Dixie Lee Kuhn, was born July 8, 1941, in Oroville, California, to Leonard and Ruth (Sjogren) Baker. She passed away, June 7, 2007, in Lauri, Missouri, at the age of 65 years, 10 months, and 30 days.
Dixie married Roger Kuhn on September 22, 1957, in Papillion, NE. To this union, they raised two children Roger and Vicki. Dixie was a member of Royal Neighbors, and loved Showing Horses, and Dogs. Working in the the Arts, was another love of hers, she loved especially working behind the scenes. Dixie loved to tell stories, and was a night person…just ask her family.
Dixie is survived by her husband Roger, of Louisville, NE, son Roger L. Kuhn, of Ashland, NE, daughter Vicki Bashus, of Omaha, NE, granddaughters Angela Bashus, of Omaha, NE, Sommer Kuhn, Sierra Kuhn, and grandson Slader Kuhn all of Verona WI, step-father Amos Beck, of Louisville, NE, sisters Elaine Storovich, Jane & husband Kim Pohlen, Patty & husband Tom Sorensen, and brother Jerry & wife Nadine Beck.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents--Leonard Baker and Ruth Beck, sister Beverly Baker.
Visitation will be Sunday from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6 untill 8 P.M. Sunday Night, all at the funeral home.
Services will be Monday at 10:00 A.M., at the First Christian Church, burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery, Louisville, NE.
